Meet Akiko Senda, Owner of Bloom Maven

A K I K O | Owner

After years of working for large retail corporations in window/prop styling and online merchandising in Los Angeles, Akiko opened her own retail boutique business in 2011. Through creating displays in her own store, she discovered a knack for styling weddings and fell in love with floral arrangement.

She opened Bloom Maven in 2015 to focus on the art of flowers and expand her own creative endeavors and in 2018 moved back to her hometown of Tucson to open her first floral shop in Tucson, Arizona. She now resides in Arizona with her husband and 3 kiddos.

Hannah started at Bloom Maven in 2017 when it was just a small pop-up inside the Mercado. She has been working with florals since she was a kid, when her parents owned a floral stand in Napa Valley, California. She has lived and traveled all over the country, but is happy to call Tucson home.

In her spare time, she is a musician and a proud dog owner of a white German Shepherd, Butterbean. Check out her music here: hannahyeun.bandcamp.com
